There was a wave of excitement in our fangirl group when we found out that Jordan was going to be on Cover Me Canada. We are still recovering from our post NKOTBSB concert depression and the thought of even one of those fabulous men being so close made us go into full fangirl mode. Obviously, we were going, but how did we get tickets? Thankfully, our beloved Twittah gave us all the answers we needed (seriously ladies, what would we do without it?). Plans were made and off we went to go see JK judge (that’s right JUDGE, not perform-the things we do for these guys) some of Canada’s best new bands.
Looking at the line-up of people waiting to get in, it was fairly obvious who we were there to see. If there is one thing that NKOTB fans do perfectly, it is take over any event that includes one of the guys. We were there to see Jordan-we knew it, the organizers knew it, and he definitely knew it. The funny thing is if you watch clips of Jordan talking, the combined air time is about 4 minutes. Yes, you saw that correctly-but you know that we didn’t care. We enjoyed all four minutes of that sexy Boston accent-who didn’t swoon when he said "you got to get the jittahs out."
But something happened during the past three weeks to shift our attention away from JK (I know-hard to believe, but true). We have developed new fangirl crushes on one of the bands-the guys from WhosArmy have stolen a piece of our hearts. It started with their first performance on the show and then spilled onto the Twittah (@CMC_WhosArmy). These guys are really talented and are super sweet and appreciative to the fans-they definitely have the votes of these fangirls.
These guys just might be the cure for our post NKOTBSB tour depression. Don’t worry Jordan, you know that we'll be loving you forever, but for the next few weeks we are going to raise a little hell with WhosArmy.
