The first question that has to be asked is, why is the Jon girl writing the blog about the JK concert? If you keep reading, you will find the answer to that very question.
Concert tickets were purchased, hotel was booked, but there was still something missing. The mission to get VIP for the JK concert was in full effect. We needed 5 VIP tickets, and there was a maximum purchase of two per order. However, as we always say, "we got this". Cue Cindy and I attempting to buy 5 VIPs using three accounts. Cindy pulled up hers, I pulled up 2, and then refresh, refresh, refresh, and we pulled up the final 2. We were ready for JK.
As with any event, our night started at the hotel. Some of our best memories come from getting ready, talking, tweeting, and listening to music before the show. Finally, we head over to the venue for the show.
We get there for VIP, and after checking in we head upstairs to a Food Network event Jordan is taping. We get some snacks and get to see JK - that is a double win for us.
After the taping it is time for soundcheck. The highlight of soundcheck had to be when he pulled out his phone. One of the girls called him out, and he said he wasn't on twitter, he was checking his songs. "You wouldn't mind if I was tweeting or DMing you". Truth JK, truth.
JK did an amazing job on that stage. He is a great performer, and the crowd loved every minute of it. Our JK girls - Andrea and Kelly - could barely contain themselves during 'O-Face'. (Even the Donnie girls - Cindy and Krys - questioned their choice...if only for a second).
Now, here is the reason I am writing this blog. We knew Jon was in Toronto with Jordan, but we weren't sure if we would see him. We saw him quickly before the show started - which made me VERY happy. However, at the end of the show Jon came out on stage and hugged JK. I can speak on behalf of all Jon girls there when I say, I LOVED IT. It was short, but seeing him in person and smiling made my night. *cue everyone tweeting pictures of the Jon/JK hug*
After the show it was time for VIP pictures. First JK came out and gave each VIP a rose (we made sure to get pics of the JK girls getting theirs). The five of us were about to take a picture with our roses when JON CAME OUT AGAIN. He came out to say bye to JK, and I may or may not have totally ignored my girls at this point. I know they understand though ;)
It was a great night with my ladies and the Knights.

Party Bus with Donnie Wahlberg- 02.24.2012
Well where do I start LOL! When it was announced I couldn't even believe my luck. My birthday happens to be the 22nd and the bus was happening on the 24th. I have tried many times to get on the party bus with Donnie and I said to myself that if I got on this time, I would be sending myself to NYC for my bday.
I have the most AMAZING friends in the world, they helped me try and sure enough we got 2 tickets and I was on the bus!!!!!!! We arrived in NYC on the Fri morning. We did what we needed to do and finally we were ready to go. On the cab ride to our meeting spot, I just kept thinking to myself...I can't believe I am finally on this damn bus LMAO!!!
So we get there and 2 mins later, Johnny walks over and takes us to the bus. We get on the bus and find a spot to sit. As usual D was running a bit late lol ;) so we wait for him....
He walks on the bus in this AMAZING blue sweater that looked incredible on him. Before the bus is even ready to start moving, he makes his way along the bus to say hi to everyone. As he is in front of us. He pulls down his shades to look at us, has a huge smile on his face but I didn't say anything as I wanted the girls to have their time with him. As he approaches me, I say "Hey Babyyyyyyyyy" He then looks at my friend and goes "She planned that didn't she"... He then proceeded to mock me and do exactly what I did as he claims I planned to be all quiet then spring that on him LOL! Gives me kisses and hugs and then continues to say hi to the other girls on the bus. Only 5 mins in, and its already amazing!!
The bus finally starts to move and we have already determined its "Blame everything on Johnny night" as we will be stuck in rush hour traffic on a Friday night heading to Mohegan...but lets be real, none of us minded lol.
Once he was done saying hi to everyone, he passes by me again, stops, looks at me, grabs my arm and goes "I don't know why, but I am feeling shy right now" I then laughed and said" Ya ok your feeling shy, That is impossible". He then made his way through the bus again from the beginning but this time spending a good amount of time with each person, talking and talking pics.
By the time he got to us. I was standing and he grabs me gives me the biggest hug and kiss. We attempt to take a pic and we both lose our balance.... needless to say that pic turned out to be a hilarious candid shot LOL. We take another one and this time manage to stay balanced then he goes "more, more" so we take another one. I then say to him "Sit down, I have something to give you" I then get "Oh no" as he sits down and gives me a smirk. I sit down on his lap and then hand him what I wanted to give him as he sees what it is, he gives me the biggest smile ever which was totally worth it!!! As we continue talking, we take another pic as I am sitting on his lap and then he goes "Aren't you going to look at it? Lets make sure we like it, I wanna see" as he grabs my friends camera. We look at it then still end up taking one more LOL as my friend calls it " It was the Krys and D photoshoot" We get more hugs and kisses and he then makes his way to spend some time with the other girls.
We spend time talking with all the other girls. Had an absolute blast with them, talking, dancing, singing, doing jello shots. It was so much fun!
As D makes his way to the other side of the bus,I ended up having a view of his nice ass for a good amount of time including right in front of my face....I had to tweet a pic of that one LOL (and no def not complaining) ;)
I know I am missing more but that is some of the highlights of the trip. I wish it never had to end. As a Donnie girl, It was such an incredible experience and I couldn't have asked for a better birthday weekend. He exceeds my expectations, more and more each time and I am so thankful for all the memories we have and this was just more to add to that list.

Some things never change...
Let me start off by saying that the boys of One Direction make me wish I was 17 again. Don’t get me wrong, I will forever love the men of NKOTBSB but there is just something special about the pure joy that a boyband brings a teenage girl. Hearing them on the radio or seeing their new video makes you happy in a way that you just can’t describe; you just know that you love them. My message to all of the Directioners (that’s right, they even have a nickname-how proud does that make us BHs?) is to enjoy absolutely every minute of it. You may think that no one understands your love for this band or these boys but trust me, we do. And we are here to tell you that those that don’t understand your love will never understand. The bond between a fangirl and her band is special; don’t let anyone tell you differently.
Remember when we were mini fangirls and all that we wanted in the world was to see our favourite guys in concert? The very thought of being in the same room as NKOTB or BSB was almost too much for us to handle. Things may be different for us now, but over the weekend a few of us discovered that absolutely nothing has changed for today’s mini fangirls. Some classics overheard before the boys of One Direction hit the stage: "I would just die if Zayn walked by me" and "You don’t understand how much I love Harry. Seriously, I love him." The 13 year old girls that we took to the show couldn’t believe that they were going to be breathing the same air as One Direction-sound familiar ladies?
The last time I was at a boyband concert surrounded by teenage girls, I was one of them and Nick Carter was telling me that he would never break my heart. I remember my mother telling me how loud the screaming was when she used to take me to shows, but I never believed her. Now I realize that it was because I was one of the people screaming-those One Direction fangirls definitely have some power in their lungs. But the screaming didn’t bother me at all; in fact I love every minute of it. It definitely brought me back to my time as a mini fangirl and I wouldn’t have wanted it to be any other way.
I will admit that I was really impressed with One Direction-they did a great job. The crowd obviously loved them and the boys seemed to enjoy every minute of it. Their five part harmonies definitely stole a piece of my fangirl heart-THESE BOYS CAN SING!
If this song isn’t a sign of them being the next big thing, then I don’t know what is. Summer 2011 flashbacks anyone?
So let’s welcome the One Direction fangirls to our world. One last piece of advice: Enjoy it, love it, and go to as many shows as possible. ;)

Our love for Whosarmy turns into a geography lesson…
The fangirls’ decision to go Whosarmy’s show this past weekend started with a conversation like this:
Fangirl 1: "They have a show at the end of January!"
Fangirl 2: "I saw that! Where is Cannington?"
Fangirl 3: "I don’t know, but I already bought all of us tickets."
So after a trip to Starbucks and a leap of faith in our GPS, the fangirls made it to Cannington. "Maggie’s Alright" is one of our favourites so we were very excited when they started with that one. Check out this video to see just how awesome they were on this song.
They also sang a few songs from Cover Me Canada, including the fangirl favourite "Lonely Boy". Just ask the guys how great we sounded singing along to "Alive". "We were an earthquaaaake, we made the world shaaaake…" Their encore was a cover of U2 and it sounded incredible. With all due respect to U2 and the amazing band that they are, the fangirls would take Travis over Bono any day.
The highlight of the night was definitely the new songs. The guys had said they were going to play new songs and we were very excited to hear them. There is nothing better than hearing a song being played live for the first time. If it is even possible, the fangirls are now even more excited for the new album. Bring it on guys!
The fangirls had a great time and the band was amazing, so the road trip was a successful one. I didn’t even mention yet that the show was sold out-how amazing is that? So a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Whosarmy!
If you missed this show, don't worry, they have another show on February 18. That's right, the day after JK, his falsetto, and his V-neck t-shirts are in TO. It seems kind of fitting that these shows would be so close together; it was JK and Cover Me Canada that brought us to Whosarmy. We will let you know how the back-to-back shows go…wish us luck.

2011...the year of NKOTBSB baby.
THE song of 2011.
LOVE
The reason that 2011 was a year that we will never forget.

In case you missed it…how the fangirls became members of The Troops.
This is the performance that started it all.
Our fangirl instincts were right…
This is just hot. "Come on down to my place baby, We'll talk about love..."
It is about this point that the fangirls started to fall in love.
This is when we knew we were in love. No doubt about it.
I guarantee you watch this more than once-you know that the fangirls have. Some of us may have also made it our ringtone (and as a result, missed a call or two).
IMMUNITY! Not that they needed it with this performance.
Just listen...
...how awesome are they?
*Fangirls down*
If you haven’t seen this yet, you need to. Seriously, watch it now.
Are you in love yet?
Why am I even asking? Of course you are. ♥
